and here are the 2 smaller versions of the card I posted yesterday... I mentioned yesterday that I came across a
calligraphic xmas tree
that I really liked and decided to try to create it... I used a 1.5mm
parallel pen and Sumi ink - I would have used a large pen nib... but my
other pens seemed to be dried up, so just grabbed whichever worked... I
guess I should do a bit of cleaning and filling up. sigh!!

Both cards are 4.2"w x 5.5"h side folded white cardsotck.
On the blue one I added faux stitching using a Sharpie pen. Added balls with a Pilot G-Tec red pen and dots with a Sharpie. Then added some small rhinestones. Layered it on to a dark blue cardstock then to my white card.
On the inside stamped the wreath (Stubby Stampers) using Distress Mini pads, misting with water. Stamped the "
Textured Holiday Words" (
Quietfire Design) with Versafine Black Onyx.

On the green card, used Prisma colored pencils to add some color in the corners. Sponged the edges with a dirty green sponge, layered it to a Bazzill monochroamtic green textured cardstock, then to my main card. Added gel stickers as ornaments and tied a small narrow ribbon bow.
On the inside stamped the pinecone branch (Stubby Stampers) with Distress, misting with water. The quote (
Quietfire Design "
A Smile is the Best") with the black.
