My quilling friends asked me to figure out how to make a basket that they saw in a picture... The first one I made was white (color they wanted) using plastic cocktail skewers and white quilling paper. After that one I made the one on this card using Bamboo skewer ends instead. Same number of posts, but it became double the size. Amazing the size difference because of the posts...
I had also made a bunch more of my purple petals at the last quilling session, so wanted to use them. And I had a whole bunch of roses I had die cut from various dies and some eCut files sitting on my desk. So it all came together. I'm laughing when i think of the quote I recently scribed "Less is more only unless more is too much"...
Anyway you can see all the details and descriptions, more views and a bit of detail instructions for the basket by clicking on any image. Enjoy.
I'm using a sentiment stamp from Quietfire Design, love this set... "Just For You" 4 pce set" and an eCut file available on the Silhouette onLine store "Happy Birthday".
