I wanted to do something with this holly digi and then I decided to pair it up with ECD "Bricks" die cut and I wanted to keep it simple... Love the way it turned out.I side folded my red textured cardstock (5"w x 7"h). Layered on a white textured cardstock.
Die cut the bricks from white cardstock I colored with various shades of Distress reds. Applied glue to the backs of the bricks only, then pressed it down on to my white textured cardstock. Carefully removed the brick outline. Applied Versafine Black Onyx to the outline and clear embossed, then applied glue to the back and adhered it to the card front, matching up the previous glued bricks...eCut the holly and outlined everything with a Sakura black glaze pen. Used a red marker for the berries and QOR watercolor paints for the leaves. Added Glossy Accents to the berries and Stickles "Eucalyptus" applied with my finger on the leaves. When dry, adhered to card leaving parts of the leaves unglued.
Stamped the quote on white cardstock, clear embossed. Trimmed close, layered on to the red cardstock and trimmed to 1/16", added two red brads and then adhered to card.
Stamped the quote with the black and clear embossed.
