I had eCut the fish (Designs By Ryn "Sea Creatures 2" set), seaweed and a couple other little things on watercolor paper a couple days ago. Inked the stamps using Distress mini pads, stamped and then with a wet paintbrush moved the color around. When dry, re-inked the stamp with the same colors and re-stamped. When dry, misted the Koi with Perfect Pearls "Perfect Pearls".
The tag (Sizzix Tim's "Bookplates & Tags") I had die cut out a few for something else... but one was laying on my desk, so used it instead of a card base. Direct to paper with "Tumbled Glass" all over, then streaked a bit with "Broken China", dried, applied some small globs of PVA glue and smeared. Dried, then again direct to paper with "Faded Jeans".
Adhered the Koi and seaweed elements to tag, using 3D foam tape on the bottom Koi to pop it up a bit.
Using one of the newest dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs "A Way With Words" "Live" (also available on Quietfire Design HERE) twice from Soft Finish cardstock. Inked one of them with the tumbled glass and embossed with Emerald Creek Hot Stuff "Turquoise Shimmer" embossing powder (love their embossing powder with all the different variations and shimmers in each...). Inked the 2nd word with "Blueprint Sketch". Adhered the 2 together slightly off set, then on to the tag.

Tied 3 different variegated blue Sari ribbons and tied them into bows.

This is just so cool!! <3
Oh my gosh! The Seaweed Set design looks so good! What does eCut mean? Did you do this by hand? The subtle colours and composition of this is fantastic. Great attention to detail!
This is just beautiful, Yogi! One of my all-time favorites of yours. The koi and seaweed are so perfectly arranged on the underwater background. Love how you inked the fish. Simply fabulous! I get in those slumps, too. I'm in one now and hoping I pull out before my next post is due.
