MC Feb/16 - ECD Love - Love You Forever

Suzanne Cannon from Quietfire Design released another couple of Silhouette cutting files and I just had to use one of them... No one to give this card too until next year sigh!!

I'm also using one of the newest Elizabeth Craft Designs dies "Love" (also available on Quietfire Design HERE).

And then Tim's challenge was for stamping with your stencil among other techniques... I remember doing it in one of His classes but haven't done the technique since. I didn't do the texture paste through the stencil, I instead just sponged through the same stencil and embossed creating my texture. Love the way the background turned out...

This is a top folded card which as you know I very rarely do... I'm using a dark brown textured cardstock (7"w x 5"h - incl the die cuts).

On white cardstock I sponged some Distress pinks through the stencil (Tim's "Flourishing Layering Stencil"). Then inked the back with "Picked Raspberry" and some "Broken China", misted with water and stamped, aligning the stencil with the previous sponging. I then sponged "Gathered Twigs" more heavily through the stencil and clear embossed. Trimmed down and adhered to my card front.

Die cut the word "Love from white cardstock, inked with Versamark and embossed with Emerald Creek Hot Stuff "Soft Fallen Snow" embossing powder. Adhered to card edge.

eCut the "you Forever" from white cardstock. Inked and embossed the "forever" as the word "Love". Inked the "you" with the raspberry and embossed with Tsukineko "Iridscent" embossing powder. Adhered both these words to the card edge.

The rose is a left over from a few days ago die cut using "Die-Namics "Hybrid Heirloom Rose" die and colored with Color Burst. I adhered to card front. Punched out a bunch of hearts (Carl "Sakura") from white cardstock smooshed with "Spun Sugar" and a touch of raspberry. Tooled them and adhered them under the rose. Added some red narrow ribbon & some white glittered cord.

Final touch, adhered some pink half pearls.

On the inside, stamped the quote (Quietfire Design "The Future Is Uncertain...") using my raspberry pad and embossing with white detail embossing powder, then inked it again with Versafine "Satin Red", restamped slightly off set and clear embossed.

Stamped the musical heart spray (Anita's) with the red and clear embossed.
