I received some beautiful sample cardstock (pearlized, plain and textured) from Paper Gardens in Ontario. It was so nice and since they are having free shipping with orders over $50 (limited time offer), I decided to order a bunch more BIG GRIN. The pearlized that I tried, die cut beautifully. She also invited me to submit a mother's day card to her challenge. I really like the way this card turned out.
I also got several new stamps from Power Poppy and wanted to use the "Orchids Rock" set with the Lady Slipper. I'm partial to them since they grew wild in PEI.
I'm using an eCut file "Mom - Rose - Ornament" from Suzanne at Quietfire Design, available on the Silhouette onLine store. And using a sentiment stamp ("In A Perfect World" 4pce set) from Quietfire Design.

So gorgeous, Yogi! The yellow lady slippers grow wild around here, too. I didn't know they were an orchid variety until Marcy made this Power Poppy stamp set. To me they were just lady slippers, a beautiful but familiar sight since childhood. Tsk tsk for taking things for granted.
