One of my online friends uploaded a faux stained glass card colored with alcohol inks and then filled each area with Glossy Accents. Turned out beautifully, but a bit more work than I wanted to do... I've been a stained glass artist for over 40 years and always loved working with antique glass and glue chip glass...
I'm using an A Way With Words dies "Laugh" from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE
I'm using a rubber sentiment stamps from Quietfire Design
("Autumn Collection - Nature Gives..." 4pce set); ("The Earth Laughs In Flowers" 2pce set); ("Twiggy Heart Wreath & Sentiments" 5pce set)
Click on any card image to see all the details and descriptions etc. Enjoy
And it fits for these challenges:
Lil Red Wagon #471 just a sentiment

This looks so pretty! I love the faux stained glass technique you used. Understand that you must have put lots of work into making this - but WOW!
Thank you for sharing your talent with us at CRAFTY CATZ. Best of luck with your entry! Nick
PS Have you seen that we are looking for some new DT members?
I love, love how you did this, Yogi! It's a beautiful card and the acetate effect is wonderful. We're talking a real stained glass look here. I've considered using Copics on glossy white card stock for a similar effect. I've done that before on a regular outline image and it's interesting. Now I want to try it with a die cut. It surely is quicker than Glossy Accents. You've inspired me to move that up on my to do list.
Beautiful card, Yogi and it fits perfectly for our "Just a Sentiment" Challenge @ Little Red Wagon this week.
Thanks for playing and i hope to see you back again soon !
