And we're at the half way point for the BVCG Feb Lettering Challenge...Nonnegotiable, another of those loooong words... I used a Parallel pen and Sumi ink, then colored between the letters.
For "Outdoorsy" - I came across some lettering done with a fork... So tried it. Didn't work that well so went back to my Stimudent tool I made eons ago. Much better. Dipped the pen into various colors of Calligraphic Crystals. Then wrote my word using my Parallel pen and Sumi ink in a Blackletter style.

Sorry for my sparse visits, Yogi. Busy here at home and falling way behind on the computer. I'm glad to finally have a chance to check your progress with the lettering challenge. You do so many different styles, including the coloring. Way cool!
