Finally, my head came up with something acceptable for this Fat Book page and I'm happy with the results. Beth A from our Byhand Yahoo Group put out the challenge. So 12 brave souls joined up choosing one of the numbers/themes from the 12 Days of Christmas song and now have to make 12 the same pages using that number. We eventually will receive a page made by each artist to create our Fat Book. Looking forward to seeing what everyone does with their number.
I decided to do something a little frivolous, which is waaay out of my comfort zone. I'm just not a frivolous person or into cartoons etc. But when I saw the words "10 Lords a Leaping" (and one of my passions is frogs) I new I had to do something along that vein. I tried finding images of "Lords" but nothing exciting was coming up. So I figured put a top hat on him and a bow tie and make him look more gentlemanly (thinking more Lordly). I also thought since top hats are so tall, I wanted it to stick up above the page.
