Misc Challenges

Well I finally had a few minutes to check out and do a couple challenges. This postcard is for Sunday Postcard with a theme of Flourishes and of course I used Quietfire Design large flourish to do the decorating on the window frame. The other challenge it works for is Lots To Do which has a "freebie" this week.

I brayered Kaleidacolor Rainbow pad "Blue Breeze" onto some glossy cardstock and spritz with water. Let dry. Rybber stamped the birds in a tree (Local King Rubber "Silence") one of my new stamps I bought on the weekend, using Versafine Black Onyx. Made a window frame from some white cardstock and colored it with a sponging tool and Distress stamp pads in brown and marigold. Rubber stamped the flourishes with the blue rainbow stamp pad and clear embossed. Made a separate little piece to fit in the windows at the bottom, since I had cut them out. Colored it with the Distress pads and stamped the word "yearning" with the black and clear embossed.
The postcard feels like I'm yearning to go out there.

Whimsy... not normally my style.
