Button Medallion

Well I couldn't resist trying my other corner punch from the Deco Fan Set (Punch Around the Page set # 42-60001). And it worked wonderfully as well. Love it. Don't know where I'm going to use it, but it will be showing up on a project real soon.

You can click on image to see a larger version.

My instructions work using an EK Success Orbis Scissor tool. So don't ask for measurements please, although you can figure that out as well. I'll eventually draw a diagram on the how too's of this technique. But I just wanted to share right now!!

The large circle was at the #120 point (the points slightly overlapped to fit), Colored with Distress Broken China & Dust Concord.

The next circle is a light blue layer, then the pinky layer which was used as a stencil for the blue layer and then adhered to the blue - off set. The pink layer, cut at #87 (punched right at the meeting of the points). More of the Broken china on the blue layer and Kaleidacolor - Spectrum pad using the magenta tone on the pinky layer.

The last layer cut at the #59 point (also punched at the meeting of the points) and embossed with Queen's gold and then a layer of Purple embossing powder. The button is a Sizzlits die which I cut 5 layers of white cardstock and glued them together and a decorative top layer.

Pretty neat eh!!

I made a 3D flower as well, but not photographed yet. Soon
