MC Mar/11 - Fabric Flower - Papillon

Oh boy - who'd a thunk using recycled stuff could turn out this good. Sheesh.

Well that's what started this card - a challenge that asked for recycling...

I'm using the French sentiment for Butterfly and the large flourish for the background - both stamps from Quietfire Design.

And I created a new Fabric Flower using a silky material and Ecoline inks.

Click on Card image to see details, descriptions and close ups etc. Enjoy.

You can also find the basis of the floral tutorial that I used HERE which I altered slightly.

And it fits for a few challenges:
Our Creative Corner Use something you would normally throw away
Little Claire's Designs #3 Pink & Green
Opus Gluei #95 Spring in Paris
CCM Spotlight Make your own DP
Paper Playtime #41 (my choice was to use Pink & Glitter)
Creative Card Crew Green
Delightful Sketches Green
Fab 'n Funky #64 Green or Happy (I think it's both)
Flutterby Wednesdays #145 Green (must have BFly etc. on it)
Card Cupids Spring
Crafty Purple Frog #11 Green
Pixie Dust Studio #66 Green
Stamp Insanity #51 Gold or metallic elements
Paper Sundays #61 Embossing
Ally's Sunday Challenge #38 Spring

Beautiful flower and such a gentle feel to your card, very soothing and lovely.
