MC Nov/13 - Chickadee - Thank You
Was in a mood to make another simple card... I had another border die cut (Memory Box "Cosmo Border") from yesterday's project, so used it as a stencil.
Side folded my white card (4.25"w x 5.5"h), taped my border down and pressed heavily with a Distress sponge using "Mustard Seed", then used a bit of "Dried Marigold". Removed the border. Hand drew the faux stitching using a black pen.
Stamped the polka dots with the dried out eraser end of a pencil and Versafine "Habanero". Added little amber rhinestones between the dots and colored gel dots on some of the stenciled details.
Stamped the quote with Black Onyx and chickadee with Vintage Sepia, (both by Quietfire Design) . Continued the line for the bird into the design and off the card edge with a black pen. Colored the body with a white Prisma colored pencil.
