MC Nov/13 - Costco Baskets - Xmas cards

I got the Costco catalogue/flyers in the mail yesterday and was looking through the gift baskets... was about to throw it away and said they're really wonderful images... So cut them out and created these cards. Can't get simpler than this. BIG GRIN

Cards are white cardstock 4.25" x 5.5" either portrait or landscape mode. All of them use an Xmas stamp quote or sentiment from Quietfire Design

This 1st card uses a Cuttlebug Xmas Ornament embossing folder. Costco image adhered to card. Quote stamped on a separate piece of cardstock using Versafine Black Onyx, clear embossing and sponging a bit of Distress blues from a dirty sponge. Adhered to card and added the crosses with Tim's tiny attacher.

For the 2nd card I used a Cuttlebug Holly Sprig embossing folder and again swiped dirty sponges across the high points in red and green. Stamped the sentiment with the black on white cardstock, sponged the edges with the red and adhered to card. added dots of Dimensional red paint.

For the 3rd card I kept it even simpler and just adhered the image. Stamped the quote on the cardstock, sponged the edges with the red and adhered to card. Added gel dots and stitch lines of Dimensional red paint.

And for the final card adhered the images and stamped the quote directly on to the card with the black. clear embossed.

What a great way to recycle those catalog images! I think the first is my favorite; it really looks like a gift basket on your card (which, duh, it is!) And I like how you sponged the embossed image on the second. Thanks for playing with CSAYL.
