MC Feb/14 - eCut Some Bunny Loves You

OK so some of these eCut elements are available now on the Silhouette store, but not the easel shape card yet... Soon. There is a side and a top fold card with the bunny though and the words

But I had to share anyway. BIG GRIN I don't normally make Easter cards and definitely not bunny cards. ROFL, but somehow this one caught my fancy this time... And I've got someone special to send it to.

So I cut the easel using my electronic cutter. Used post it notes to mask off areas as I was sponging colors. Various Distress browns for the bunny with a touch of pink on the ear. Added two tones of flocking on the tail and a beige enamel dot for the eye and added a eye dot with a black sharpie.

I used a mini Swiss Dots stencil and sponged Distress "Picked Raspberry", "Mustard Seed" & "Shabby Shutters" both on the back (or top if closed) and on the floor of the card.

I just got this Sizzix Thinlits "Susan's Garden die set of Daisies" and had to use it... Ran it through my Cuttlebug, added some color with Pan Pastels , and a bit of Distress green, assembled it and then added some bright yellow Flower Soft in the center. Tied a pale green narrow ribbon around the neck and then adhered the flower.

Since I used a daisy on the bunny, figured I'd continue the theme and add daisies to the front of the card using Flourishes "Calendar set #3" and Versafine Black Onyx, then added some yellow with Prisma colored pencils. Then stamped the word "easter" using an alphabet rubber stamp set (Hero Arts "Happy Letters") and the black and clear embossed it.

The last thing to add was the words, also eCut from white cardstock, colored with black dye ink pad and embossed with black embossing powder. Also added an extra little carrot for the bunny - got to eat while making the journey across Canada!!

The eCuts can be found on the Silhouette onLine store created by Suzanne Cannon from Quietfire Design.

And it fits for these challenges:
TTCRD  #18 - 24 anything goes
Loves Rubber Stamps  #91 funny sentiment
Flourishes  #259 polka dots
Cuttlebug Mania   add dimension or texture
