I also went to the paper wholesaler here in Calgary - Spicers, and picked up some glossy cardstock - Sterling Premium Digital 100# Gloss. I figured I'd try it with alcohol inks... but haven't gotten around to that yet.
So I side folded my white glossy cardstock (5"w x 7"h). I stamped the leaf (Rubbernecker "Maple Leaf") to create a silhouette image, scanned it and then electronically cut to use as a mask. Stamped the leaf all over using Versamark and coloring with Pebbles chalks. I also Then I shadow outlined the leaves using a Lumocolor black marker.
Stamped the quote using one of the newest sets from Quietfire Design using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossing.
Adhered the various ribbon, lace, twine (which I knotted) and pearls on the left side - I got carried away BIG GRIN.
Then I used a Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page punch set "Swirling Lace" on the right edge.
On the inside I adhered a piece of mango tone cardstock.
