MC July/15 - Quill Daisies HB - Some People

It was a good session at our last quilling get together although a little short because of the weather.... managed to make all the daisies. BIG GRIN

I also had these frame edges (ECD "Oval Dots Frame Edges") in my leftover stash. So inked them with Versafine "Vintage Sepia" and embossed with Hot Stuff "Burnt Copper Leaves" twice to get a really thick coating.

Adhered the frame pieces to a white textured cardstock, trimmed down and punched out the excess white areas on the outside edges. Adhered this to a side folded (5.5"w x 7"h) olive green textured card.

Stamped my quote (Quietfire Design "Some People Come Into..." 2pce companion set) using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Adhered my quilled elements. Die cut some daisy leaves (ECD "Daisy")  from green decorated papers from my stash. Added the large white half pearls in each corner. Added the butterfly, also from my stash (ECD "Small BFly") adding a layer of Stickles "Ice Crystals" with my finger.

Die cut the "Happy Birthday from yellow fun foam which I had daubed with Distress Picket Fence acrylic dauber prior cutting to soften the yellow... then heat shrunk using my heat gun - this was something I saw on Jennifer McGuire's blog recently.

Adhered a piece of green satin ribbon with a simple bow & a rhinestone cabochon center, then adhered my shrunken word.

On the inside: Stamped the quote (Quietfire Design "May Your Home..." 5pce set) substituting the word "home" and stamping the word "Day" from "You May Not Be Able..." using the black on white cardstock. Created a mask with a post it note and then stamped the daisy background using Distress "Pumice Stone" and coloring with Prisma colored pencils.

Added the butterfly, also from my stash, (Memory Box "Pipi") and added some Stickles with my finger.

Wrote in the words "My Friend with a Zig black marker.
