MC Sept/16 - Daisy - ECD Hello, Friend - A Friend,Friend_AFriendt.html
Boy was I disappointed with the way the Distress pads inked the Altenew "Spring Daisy". I normally swear by Distress for inking and water coloring techniques, but they sure didn't work this time... After messing around with several color versions, I finally got frustrated and said to heck with it and inked the heavy detail stamp with Picket Fence and embossed with white embossing powder. Sheesh, who would have thunk it would turn out OK...

Love the trellis I created with Tim's Trellis die and Emerald Creek "Hammered Metal" embossing powder

PS: the vibrant pink on the inside of the card is pretty close to the color it's in real. I wasn't able to get the photo of the front of the card to match - sigh!!,Friend_AFriendt.html
Anyway you can see all the details and descriptions, by clicking on any card image. Enjoy

I'm using a couple A Way With Words dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs "Hello" and "Friends" also available on Quietfire Design HERE and HERE

I'm also using a quote stamp on the inside by Quietfire Design "A Friend IS Someone..."

And it fits for these challenges:
Penny's Challenges  #296 anything goes
Digi Stamps For Joy  #128 anything goes
Emerald Creek  monthly Sept  anything goes using Emerald Creek products,Friend_AFriendt.html

I don't have a whole lot of experience with distress pads and have wondered how they're different. Ultimately this turned out beautiful. You pulled it off!
