MC Sept/16 - Daisy - ECD Hello, Friend - A Friend

Boy was I disappointed with the way the Distress pads inked the Altenew "Spring Daisy". I normally swear by Distress for inking and water coloring techniques, but they sure didn't work this time... After messing around with several color versions, I finally got frustrated and said to heck with it and inked the heavy detail stamp with Picket Fence and embossed with white embossing powder. Sheesh, who would have thunk it would turn out OK...

Love the trellis I created with Tim's Trellis die and Emerald Creek "Hammered Metal" embossing powder 

PS: the vibrant pink on the inside of the card is pretty close to the color it's in real. I wasn't able to get the photo of the front of the card to match - sigh!!
