On Canson Mixed Media paper drew out the wavy lines and then drew circles between them and it reminded me of Swiss Cheese...then added the lettering. Painted with various blues and a greenish yellow. Added graphite shading in the ball shapes.

I saw something done on_line and decided to pull out my w/c pencils and create one too...

On Canson cp watercolor paper created my main word using Faber Castell - Albert Dürer w/c pencils (Emerald Green 163, Earth Green Yellowish 168, Light Green 171) and a wet brush, and the smaller words with a green ZIG Writer.

Celtic Weave Bands - Doubt Kills Dreams

On Canson Mixed Media paper drew the curved lines and filled with a Celtic pattern of cross lines. Added some colored pencil shadow lines. Added some lightly shaded areas with various greens (hard to see...) then added the text with the narrow tip of the calligraphy marker.

Celtic Knotwork Lettering - Dream On

Edmonton Calligraphy Society had Pauline Baynes teaching Celtic Letters last month. I was not able to attend but she was kind enough to allow me the handouts. Love all the variations but they are definitely time consuming... She gave 3 exemplars and I thought I'd play with all 3 BIG GRIN. This was the 1st exemplar.

On Canson Mixed Media paper created the words with a Zig Writer in a funky lettering style then added the hatching using a red Juice Up pen. Added the hearts with a gold Uniball Signo pen and added graphite shading. Text with a black Juice Up pen.

I had this end piece of St Armand w/c paper and just started doodling rock shapes using a ZIG Writer and graphite 2B pencil with paper stump. Text written with the Juice Up pen.

Try And You're Half Way There

I was playing with all the colors of discarded calligraphy markers I had in a bag using the larger size... checking them out...

On Canson XL Pen & Ink paper wrote out the words in every color I had. Added a graphite shading.

I then created one (image below) with the small end only and shadowed with a Pilot Juice Up black pen.
