size closed: approx 1"w x 2"h ea
I used stationary paper to create each box section.
Surprisingly enough I didn't use any text....
Size: 4.5" sq
I pulled out some iridescent paper from my stash...
Cut 2 pieces 4.25"sq Folded in half diagonally, then the longest side folded in half and again the longest side folded in half. While everything is still folded (The open unfolded side to the right and closed folded section at the top), cut a triangular wedge from the open side (no folds) - for mine it was about 1/2" at the top folded area to the point of the triangle. Then cut 2 slits vertically about 3/8" apart to almost touching the folded top edge.
Glue the 2nd strip point to the center with a very small dot of glue. Do the other 3 strips.
Fold. cut and glue the 2nd piece of paper the same way. Place both pieces on top of each other (back to back) rotating one about 45ยบ so the points lay in the center of the one below. Glue together at the center. Add a gem on both sides.
I decided to make these star shapes for my Crafty Dozen friends...
They're made fro equilateral triangles. Mine have 8.5"sides.Bring the point to the mid point of the side opposite it. Repeat with the next point and the 3rd point should nest within the fold lines created. My triangles are 3.6" from point to fold line. Fold point down by 2.4" leaving 1.2" between the 1st and 2nd fold lines. Repeat with other 2 triangles. Fold with one edge under the next edge. Punch a hole, add a brad and string.
Mine were made from Columbia Mills End paper and geli printed with acrylic paints.
Inside the star my message.
Honeycomb ornament upper left ( image)
size: approx 2.5"w
Using 65# cardstock (white and a 2 toned pink scrapbook paper).
Cut 10 circles of white and 10 of pink 2.5" dia. I Used a Spellbinder's Nestabilities Standard Circles Large.
Since I used a 2 sided cardstock for one of my 10 circles I alternated the colors when assembling.
Fold all circles in half. Arrange in the order you will be gluing. Glue half of one circle to the half of the next circle. Repeat till all are glued together.
Now is the tricky part...
Alternate gluing a small line on the top of one folded half, press together to adhere then on the next section glue at the bottom folded half. Alternate gluing at the top of one and then the bottom of the next to get the honeycomb look.
String a thread through the center adding beads or knots to prevent string from slipping out. Adhere with a glue gun.
Christmas ornament
I've been getting a lot of paper crafting images on Instagram and decided to play with this shape... She's got 2 versions of making it, but I prefer the older version...

approx 2.25"w
Using Bogus Recycled Sketch Paper.
Cut 8 squares 2.5" each. Fold in half point to point. Fold the left and right points to the half crease creating a pointed triangle shape. (a) Fold down the small triangle. (b) Fold the left and right points to the center fold. Put a small dab of glue to these points on the inner side and adhere to the triangle from (a). Make sure not to let glue go anywhere else.
Continue with other 7 pieces of paper. When all are assembled glue one to the other on the little glued outside triangle from (b)
I added an edge of Stickles gold glitter on each top edge. Adhere a string for hanging. I punched a small hole very near the edge of 2 of the star points and added a bead to hold it closed. It can still be folded closed as a thick triangle to put away.
