Workshop Week 2024 - Collage Florals

I signed up for the Workshop Week 2024 hosted by The Happy Ever Crafter on an online platform

I'm not a collage person... but was inspired by this one. I didn't paint along with the teacher but pulled out some of my gelli prints. I'm also amazed I didn't put any lettering...
Size: 9"sq
Drew the outline of the vase and then painted the leaves around it, then glued my various elements. Added some leaves on top of things.

Collage Letters - Artists Don't Think They

I was at a ZOOM meeting "Calligraphy Italia" introducing Lieve Cornil's Collage Master Class and thought I'd play a bit... I'm NOT into collage... But this just popped into my brain...
size: 6"w x 7.5"h
I have scrap ends of geli printed papers next to me at my desk and just started cutting out letters (while listening to the talk) and then adhered them to this PINK cardstock...

That sentiment is exactly what I do. I don't stress over what or how to do something - it just pops into my head when I hear a word or topic and I put it down as quickly as possible... sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't - c'est la vie

Aug/21 - WC Painted Collage Flowers

I signed up for the Summer Retreat 2021 (mini classes of 100 artists). This was from Day 2, a watercolor painted collage flower card tutorial by Julia Malizia (Harp And Crow). Not my normal style but fun to make.

I made it into a top folded card.

Collage Xmas Cards

I went to a mini demo at Paper Pasatimes yesterday and MaryAnne Louis Kovar was demoing using Xmas papers to create cards. She came up with a whole slew of good cards.
Well you know I'm a little challenged when dealing with collaged stuff, but what the heck, lets try some. These are my renditions using a double sided cardstock by Terri Conrad Designs - Winter Wonderland Collection "Good Cheer". I'm content. maybe they could have had a touch more pizzazz stuff to them... maybe next time. I added some Sizzix letters for the word "Joy" and some gold Stickles on a couple of them.
