As mentioned before I wanted to do more water coloring this year and asked my friends what their favorite flower and color were... and that's my inspiration for the flower cards coming. BIG GRIN.

I finally got around to playing with my Deco Art Media paints (available from (Kensington Art Supplies) making a similar background that I made for the Phone Stand taught by Tracie Moreau at "The Paper And Ink Boutique" last month... I made 2 cards with the background and this is the first one.

I came across a gorgeously colored green poinsettia and had to imitate it done by Laura Jane using The Ton "Poinsettia Close Up" background stamp. You can see her post HERE. I don't have this particular stamp from 2017, so I hand drew my interpretation of the image. I have since made it in 4 other colors beside the green one...

This is the 5th of 5 cards I made with the Poinsettia image.

When I lived in Montreal I used to enjoy going into the woods and seeing all the trillium blooming. So pretty. This is a rather plainer letter than all the others, no gems or glitter etc...

 

Love the added pearls and gems. This one almost looks Christmas'y...

I'm using part of a rubber  stamp quote and design element stamps from Quietfire Design.
("Christmas Waves A Magic..."); ("Poinsettia Banner..." 4pce set")

The letter "C" and the rest of the word for "Christmas" was calligraphed by me and the rest of the quote is a stamp designed by Suzanne Cannon on Quietfire Design. 

This is the first time I'm using a product called "Instacoll" to give a raised gilded effect. I used a double coat, but will have to apply some of my Jerry Tresser adhesive as well since there were some bare spots I wasn't happy with. SIGH!!
