Scribbled Lives 2023 - Wk 5 - Bleach - Bleach Is Wicked

I used to do a lot with bleach but haven`t played with it in several years...On Stillman & Birn Nova Tria Mixed Media 150gsm paper. It has 3 tones (light grey, beige and black). All 3 colors work beautifully with bleach... I've tried a lot of various black papers with bleach and this is my ABSOLUTE favorite. It reacts wonderfully and has such a nice tone to it.

Annette Wichman from Kensington Art Supply mention a good bleach result on Stillman & Birn black paper... so went out and bought their Nova Trio coiled book. It really was beautiful on black... the picture doesn't do it justice. It's a beautiful beige mottled look. It almost makes me smile as much as the result I got on that unknown paper I mentioned the other day...
