Suzanne came out with a whole batch of rubber stamp sets and singles. I'm using the grid patterned background stamp as well as the quote. They are all gorgeous. Sigh!!
I was in a mood to make a couple gate fold cards using Elizabeth Craft Designs Moda Scrap die. Such a pretty die... This is the first one.
I'm using an "A Way With Words" die from Elizabeth Craft Designs ("Happy Birthday" 2pce die set) available in the near future, designed by Suzanne Cannon (also available HERE).
And it fits for these challenges:
And April's tag for Tim's challenges is done... This month it was "Faux Mosaic Technique". Whoops missed the paint resist technique... Oh well half the challenge is better than none...
Plus a couple sentiment stamps from Quietfire Design. "Happy Birthday Plain and Simple" 7pce set; and "Twirl and Enjoy" 3pce set
Well I think I'm starting the year off well... and finally doing one of Tim's tag challenges. It's been a while...
My turn on the Quietfire Creations Blog today and I made a simple card using Elizabeth Craft Designs dies ("Love"), ("You"), and "Alphabet Caps" die cut from Color Burst decorated watercolor paper enhanced with Schminke Gold Powder and Coarse Kosher Salt.
I'm using a quote stamp on the inside by Quietfire Design "Frienship Isn't a Big Thing..."
And the "Happy Birthday" is a top and bottom off the edge die cutting technique explained on my website. Yes you could die cut the word and just glue the edges to a couple borders... There is always more than one way to do things...
And another very productive quilling session... I demo'ed using Brusho's and Colour burst to my quill group and ended up using some for this card... I finished making more tulips. Decided on what my background for this would be... that took a while BIG GRIN and then when my friends left I put it all together adding more and more elements as usual. ROFL.
One of my DT friends asked if I had ever cut metal with my Silhouette Cameo... I said no. So immediately set about trying it... and even though it cut quite well, it ruined my blade, so it is not something I will be trying again any time soon. Waaay too expensive..
Anyway, you can see all the details and descriptions etc by clicking on any card image. Enjoy
Only 3 days left of Tim's tags. sigh!! I'm sure myself and others feel the same way - we'll hate it when it ends... But alas all good things must end.
