BVCG March Lettering Challenge Day 23 & 24

BVCG March Lettering Challenge day 23 & 24.

Wrote out the word with a Parallel pen and Winsor and Newton watercolors. Shadowed with a Micron. Added the hanging flowers with a pointed brush.

I used Calligraphica Crystals "Nickel" which in real life has a silvery look to it. I thought it was a nice grey which is what Xanadu is... Love the word too... Used a Dreaming Dogs ruling pen, but can't remember which one...

Wk 11 of the Scribbled lives 2020 Facebook challenge with New Thoughts as the theme. I did 4 variations. Not sure which I prefer... The Monkey Bar Caps lettering style is a new on for me which I recently came across. Thought it was interesting with a lot of potential.

We've started another month's BVCG Lettering Challenge. This one is all about COLORS... right up my alley. BIG GRIN.

Febé20 - BVCG Lettering Challenge - Nonnegotiable and Outdoorsy

And we're at the half way point for the BVCG Feb Lettering Challenge...

Nonnegotiable, another of those loooong words... I used a Parallel pen and Sumi ink, then colored between the letters.

For "Outdoorsy" - I came across some lettering done with a fork... So tried it. Didn't work that well so went back to my Stimudent tool I made eons ago. Much better. Dipped the pen into various colors of Calligraphic Crystals. Then wrote my word using my Parallel pen and Sumi ink in a Blackletter style.
