MC Aug/11 - Gladiola BD

Well I goofed... I have on my calendar a friends birthday for this month... except it's apparently in the middle of October. Beats me how that happened. Nothing like a very very early card. I warned her already, she's not getting another one. The trouble is, I made the card based on the flower of the month for August. C'est la vie. I guess this is really where the thought counts and not what's given.

Well I thought you might also like to see what I gave her. You can also click on card to see more details and descriptions etc. Enjoy.

And it fits for this challenge:

My Time To Craft  #153 G is for "Gladiola"
Tuesday Throwdown  #62 Non stamped sentiment
Polka Doodle  #33 single layer

It's beautiful Yogi - and the envelope too. I bet she's just as delighted anyhow! Di xx

Your gladiolas are beautiful. I love that flower and rarely see it anymore. Great 'early' card. :-)
Bet she will love it just the same and get a big smile from it being early. Thanks for joining Tuesday Throwdown this week.

So gorgeous, Yogi! Love how your sentiment is nestled in the garden of glads. Beautiful coloring and design. I've been off by a month before on birthdays. Truly, it is the thought that counts, and I know she loved this card and all the thought that went into it.

Yogi,You are too funny. This sounds like something I would do. I'm sure you're friend will appreciate it anyway. Your work is always beautiful. I have the perfect solution - since my birthday is in October, I'll take her card. Hee, hee, hee! Couldn't resist. Linda
