MC Aug/12 - Glitter Fishes & Nautilus

I wanted to see if my electronic cutter would cut a glittered piece of cardstock... and it did, so I created silhouette images of the fishes and cut them out. I also drew a nautilus image and cut it out from just cardstock and applied it to the Sookwang tape, then added the glitter.

All use my new Spectrum Noir alcohol pens. As a medium to use for painting glitter or working on metal, they're really nice - cheaper than Copics and refillable. But I tried them on almost a dozen different papers I have including Manga paper, Pro Marker papers, Specialty papers, glossy etc etc. Definitely did not like them for any of those. Not sure why people like alcohol pens so much for coloring. Give me my Prisma colors or watercolors or even Tombows, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!

Beside from that I'm also using shrink plastic for the quotes/sentiments from Quietfire Design

Should you wish to see more details, close ups, descriptions, etc., just click on card images and enjoy. (PS they all go to the same web page)
