MC Jan/15 - CAS - Birthday Joy

I got side tracked.... I wanted to make a card with some of my quilled flowers I recently made, started looking in my rubber stamp journal for a quote to go with them and saw the word "JOY" (Fill 'r Up) by Suzanne at Quietfire Design. This stamp was basically done for the Xmas season... but I thought to myself why not make it for a birthday... and that's how I got side tracked. Sheesh.

Anyway, I side folded my white card (5.5"w x 4.25"h). Stamped the word "Birthday" (7 pce set) using Distress mini pads ("Broken China" & "Evergreen Bough") misted with water and stamped, then clear embossed. Made a little mask for it and then stamped the word "JOY" using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed.

Used post it notes to mask the bottom and top white space, then inked up my "Bubbles" stamp (Impression Obsession) using a bunch of different mini pad colors, misting with water and stamping. Removed the masks.

Applied Quickie Glue pen to the internal areas of the "Fill 'R Up" letters and then sprinkled with Stickles dry glitter "Star Dust".

Finished the front with two different colors of narrow ribbon.

On the inside stamped the quote ("Love Where You're At...") using the black and clear embossed. Created a mask for the quote using tracing paper and the outside edge of Spellbinders Labels 42 Decorative Accents. Lay it over the quote and again masked of the borders with the post it notes and inked  up the stamp as per the front.
