She did it with acrylics on a black painted background. drawing the design with chalk and then painting within the lines, then painting the background a lighter blue leaving a black outline on the image. I decided to do it with watercolors and the bullet tip of my Zig pen.

Interesting whether chalk and acrylics or zig and watercolors. Your word font is perfect with the painting. I like the look of the whole piece.
