The image above is progression of each element to see which I like the best. The first is just too plain for me. I like the way the black shadow makes it stand out. It's hard to see the effect of the gray shadow, but I like that detail as well and can't have anything withoyt a touch of color...

You could fool me. It looks like you've got it down to perfection. It's interesting to see the progression. The shadow is definitely a must, and you know how I feel about color.
