Our May challenge is to create a Hexagon Booklet that Mary Conley gave us the instructions for. I redesigned it to create larger hexagons. This one is made up of 13 individual pieces and adhered together with the geli print borders.
Size closed: 5"w x 4"h x 3/4"thk
Again I used my hexagon punch to make an enlarged master piece and then traced around it to get all my hex's down on my 2 colors of scrapbook cardstock. I cut 1/2" strips of geli print to adhere the hexes together and then wrapped a border around each hex.
Since I used a dark green and a light green I needed to use 2 colors of writing implements - a white Gelly Roll .08 and a black Signo Uniball.
The title page has the title "endless" done in white and shadowed with a black Juice Up pen.
I created the box to hold it and added a small textured sticky tab to keep the box closed.
I added a long thin strip of the geli paper (also from my scraps...) which wraps around my booklet to keep it closed.
