MC Sept/11 - Sapphire - Let it Snow

Well I picked up these decorative petals at Michael's the other day - regular $16.99 and got them for $1.69 - what a great deal for 300 petals. Half were a metallic gauzy type and half were a creamy white with pink splotches. Why cut your own petals when you can get them for this price. So out came the low melt glue gun and voila a flower emerged. BIG GRIN.

Now you may have noticed some snowflakes on the card and the stamped sentiment saying "Let it snow...", but then when you get to the bottom of the card that's where it says, "I've got spring in my heart", and with that I can handle the winter that's around the corner.

There's lots of bling in the ribbon (metallic & glitter)

This week's theme over on Created By Hand and Quietfire Creations is "Sapphire"

Anyway to see more details and descriptions, just click on card image and enjoy.

And I'm using a Quietfire Design Xmas stamp.

And it fits for these challenges:
Digi Stamps 4 Joy  #26 Spring with handmade flower
Pennys Challenges  #61 Inspiration Image (See pic below)
YNS Challenges  #50 use a song for inspiration (Let it snow)

Your card is absolutely beautiful, Yogi, and the flower that came from those petals -- gorgeous. What a deal! I like all the sparkle and gold, and the sentiment combo is very fun and light hearted. This will chase away some of the winter chill for whoever receives it, for certain!

Wow! I always learn something new from you. I would have never thought to put the petals together and create my own flower and it is so very beautiful against the blue background. I love everything on this card from the flower and lace to your great sentiments! (PS: I wouldn't have thought to put those to phrases on one card but they go perfectly! You are amazing!
